Further north again we camped by the coast in Bahia Inglesa. The coastal climate is dictated by the ice cold Humboldt Current, which causes a morning fog and a very arid coastal climate. That evening Jorge bought us a few bottles of Pisco, and put on a barbeque. Jorge, if you are reading this we think that mixing Coca Cola with Pisco, as per the Chilean custom, is a crime against humanity. We believe that Pisco should be treated with the dignity of lime, egg white, and icing sugar only.
