From San Pedro we did a day trip to the Altiplanico (high plateau) near by. We didn’t think much of the tour guide as he wasn’t very well prepared. We had a flat tire and no spare to replace it, or gato (jack); something that you don’t really expect in Chile. It was on this tour that we met dickhead # 1 from Spain, who had a fit when one of the guides spoke English.
