Mendoza is a pleasant city with the main claim of fame being wine and lots of it. We did a wine tour with a Venezuelan couple, whose definition of wine tasting was wine sculling. The wine museum was the most interesting, especially the learning how they made wine in the old days in a cow hide, using a hole in the tail to drain the must. We also had a very enjoyable parrilla (Argentinean style grill) hosted by some local friends; Nidia and family.
