Merzouga is a small village in south eastern Morocco, about 20 kilometres from the Algerian border. It's famous for its sand dunes (Ergs) and a place of the pilgrimage for tourist to get sore bottoms riding camels. The local Berber people still engage in traditional activities such as appearing as extra's on cheesy Hollywood blockbusters.
