We went to an Ecotourism resort that was overun by locals having a weekend getaway. Ecotourism for Malaysians means watching satellite TV in the room, then tearing up sand dunes and destroying the peace on Quadbikes. You can't deny it's fun though. We went on an organised canoe trip which turned out to be a quick paddle in a 200 meter square pond, and then a jungle trek through swamp forrest, and amused ourselves watching everyone slip and slide and get attacked by mosquitoes.
