Luang Nam Tha is a small town in northern Laos where we did a one day hike through the forest starting and finishing in an Akha village. The hike was a wee bit tougher than advertised and Thomas managed to do a Tarzan imitation on one particularly steep section of the track, grabbing hold of a Lianna thinking it was a tree and swinging across a river. Leeches took a liking to Lulu.
At the end of the trek we were invited to the village heads house for a shot of Lao Lao (Lao rice whiskey).
