Muang Ngoi is an idyllic little village on the Nam Ou where the main economic activity is lying in hammocks, sleeping and drinking the occasional beerlao. It's only accessible by river boat, which is probably why the village has retained it's charm. Lulu said she could live there if there were a few more facilities like a supermarket, airport, shopping centers etc. But then it wouldn't be Muang Ngoi anymore, would it?
