Florence was a bit hectic for our liking so we based ourselves in Sienna for our travels around Tuscany. Though the towns and villages are undoubtedly interesting, I don’t understand why people wank lyrical about the Tuscany countryside. To me it looks like Pukekoe (a farming region in NZ) with a few more vineyards and olive trees
