	JP was still alive when we visited the Vatican, though unfortunately they didn’t defrost him and wheel him out like they used to do on many occasions. We scored a free tour of the Vatican, and so learnt some interesting facts, such as the electric circuits that zap unfortunate pigeons that try to roost on the statue of St Peter. Incidentally, St. Peters is now only the 2nd largest Church in the world, after the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro in Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire.
