Rothenberg is the romantic road city where all the tourists go to. It's surrounded by medieval fortifications and is full of those typically German plaster and wood houses, some dating from 1250 AD. The German style restoration means they look like they’ve just been build and from a distance the whole town looks like a model Lego land village
